Copolymer - Controlled Depletion Ablative Micron CSC is a cuprous oxide (37) controlled solubility copolymer ablative antifouling paint. This means that unlike some ablative paints, it wears away at a more controlled rate, allowing the use lower amounts of (expensive) copper without sacrificing effectiveness. Ablative paints reduce the build-up of old coatings and minimize sanding at reapplication. This also allows the boat to be hauled and launched without recoating.
