About Boaters Plus

Boater's Plus is located in Chattanooga, TN a mile inland from the
Tennessee River and the Chickamauga Lake.  We are a boating supply
store that takes pride in our customer service.  We have access to
over 50,000 boating products.  We keep a variety of these in stock and
if we don't have it, our distributors do.  We would love to help you
find the products that you need to make your boating experience an
affordable pleasure.   If you can't find it online then email us or
call us and there is a good chance we can find it for you.
Boaters Plus is a family owned business and run by Jere and Colleen
Edwards along with their son Chris Edwards.

Jere Edwards, President

Jere Edwards  has owned a boat and been a boating enthusiast since
1958 when he and his family had a cottage on a small island outside of
Detroit. Jere played on the lake all summer long as
a child.  He has owned everything from a couple of sailboats, numerous
runabouts  and  two houseboats.  Jere originally started Tradewinds in
Chattanooga because of the lack of boating supplies available locally.


Colleen Edwards, Treasurer

Colleen Edwards has been a co-owner and a loving spouse through all of
Jere's boating adventures.  Colleen runs the accounting department at
Boaters Plus.  She is the critical element of keeping Boaters Plus
organized financially.

Chris Edwards, VP of IT

Chris Edwards is the IT guy of the family.  Chris currently owns a 25
foot sailboat and previously owned a houseboat with Jere and a larger
cruiser on his own.  Chris with help and guidance from Jere has helped
develop the online presence of Boaters Plus.   He carries several
highly valued certificates in the IT industry and went to MTSU for his
degree in Computer Science.
